Sejumlah pesepak bola profesional di Tanah Air memang ingin untuk bisa mencicipi liga luar negeri. Salah satunya adalah bek kiri Persija Jakarta, Rezaldi Hehanussa yang mengaku ingin berkiprah di Liga Thailand. Hanya sayangnya ia harus membenamkan keinginan tersebut lantaran dirinya telah menandatangani kesepakatan perpanjangan kontrak dengan tim Ibu Kota Jakarta.
“Kalau ada kesempatan pastinya mau. Saya ingin bermain di Liga Thailand,” kata Rezaldi Hehanussa, dilansir dari Bolasport.com.
Pemain yang karib disapa Bule itu juga mengakui bahwa dirinya sempat punya kesempatan itu. Seperti diketahui, beberapa klub Malaysia sebelumnya dikabarkan berminat untuk mengenakan jasa punggawa timnas U-22 Indonesia itu.
“Ada tawaran dari klub luar negeri, cuma masih mengambang. Dan saya juga punya kontrak dua musim bersama Persija,” beber Bule.
Meski harus mengurungkan niatnya untuk berkiprah di liga luar negeri, namun pemain berusia 22 tahun itu tetap bersyukur telah dipercaya Persija dengan perpanjangan kontrak yang telah diberikan.
“Alhamdulillah saya perpanjang kontrak dua tahun sampai 2019 bersama Persija,” tukas Rezaldi.
Sepanjang kompetisi Liga 1 musim 2017, Rezaldi telah berhasil membukukan satu gol dan tiga assist bagi Persija.
